Our client is a leading performance media agency with a global footprint. Based in Melbourne, however with a growing presence across 60 countries. They are passionate about what they do, and are looking for an experienced People and Culture candidate to help them take the workplace culture to the next level.

About the role:

As the People and Culture Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a P&C strategy that supports social, ethical, and financial goals. You will be the champion of the workplace culture, nurturing it and protecting it while also driving its growth. You will take ownership of the entire employee life-cycle, from recruitment to retention, and ensure that every member of the team feels valued and supported. This is a new function with our client, so you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and define the role as your own.

Key responsibilities:

· Develop and implement a P&C strategy that aligns with the business goals

· Nurture and protect existing workplace culture, while cultivating its growth

· Own the entire employee life cycle, from recruitment to retention

· Establish and track performance metrics to measure the success of the P&C initiatives

· Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture

· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on people-related issues

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, ideally within an agency setting

· Proven experience in developing and implementing a P&C strategy

· A performance mindset and a track record of delivering results

· Outstanding communication skills and high attention to detail

· A proactive, positive attitude and a kind spirit

· The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment

· Sound strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

· The desire to develop your leadership skills and those of the team
