Digital Media Manager

$70,000 – $80,000 + super, per annum

My client is an iconic women’s fashion retailer who are embarking on a digital-first approach to retailing. They’ve been a huge success in Australia for decades and as such are looking to build on their success here and launch in the U.S market.

I’m looking for a Content and Social Media Manager to help strengthen their online brand. This person’s objective is to promote the brand through various social channels and platforms. They must develop the visual content to its maximum and appealing potential as well as manage, guide and support multiple agencies and influencers to deliver what’s required.

Being one of Australia’s most commonly worn youth & professional brands, you’re almost guaranteed to have a number of their items in your wardrobe & they need a confident someone who will bring that presence online & really takeover the digital market.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To own the content and social media strategy for the business here in Australia and the U.S.
  • Create engaging content including copy for their channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and Youtube.
  • Monitor digital content and work closely with the internal creative’s and marketing team to deliver visually appealing visuals
  • Brief the internal graphic design team
  • Attend and direct photoshoots
  • Source, manage and brief Influencer’s
  • Identify digital trends and insights and propose innovative content solutions
  • Help to develop a brand tone of voice and ensure visual consistency across all digital channels

You must have the following:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital content and social media ideally within a fashion/retail organisation
  • Experience in creating and developing visual content on digital channels and social media platforms for a brand/organisation
  • Ability to create, produce and deliver visual and copy content for digital marketing communications in line with the brand guidelines
  • Excellent knowledge of a variety of digital channels and how to maximize them for different marketing activities
  • A strong interest in learning and keeping up to date with new technologies, digital platforms, digital marketing trends and best practices

This will be the perfect role for someone who considers themselves a bit of a fashionista along with the talent of being a social media & content guru. You’ll need to be strategic in your approach, stay on top of retail trends and have the capability to stand out from the rest.
