Marketing Advisor

NEW opportunity for a Marketing Advisor to join a NSW Government Department, contributing to the development, delivery and implementation of effective integrated marketing and communications and customer experience strategies, initiatives, standards, content, campaigns and channels to optimise outcomes for the business

Key accountabilities

* Develop and manage marketing and communications channels (eg. websites, social media, enewsletters and other digital applications) and tools; undertaking planning, research, content development, execution, optimisation, analytics, reporting and administration for marketing and communications campaigns.

* Undertake research and planning to develop, design and implement integrated marketing materials based on briefed requirements across all channels including digital and traditional.

* Develop, implement and review campaigns and brands to ensure continuous brand performance.

* Enhance the customer experience by leading and delivering key initiatives/projects across physical precinct and digital touchpoints.

* Effectively manage audiences and communities across all digital channels to build engagement and loyalty.

* Build a sound understanding of Departmental needs and establish and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Stay abreast of Government obligations, emerging issues, risks and opportunities impacting digital communications and provide timely and relevant advice to the Manager and stakeholders.

* Stay abreast of emerging trends in retail, digital marketing and social media and share and apply this knowledge.

Key challenges

* Achieving deadlines and milestones to the required standards, timeframes and within budget, given the need to simultaneously coordinate and deliver multiple projects and services.

* Developing and maintaining effective relationships with agencies, suppliers, stakeholder organisations, and networks.

* Staying abreast of the changing media landscape and emerging digital marketing best practice and other factors likely to impact the way the Department communicates digitally with the customer

Qualifications

· Experience in managing campaigns across multiple channels with demonstrated success in executing end to end management of both digital and traditional marketing campaigns, to tight deadlines.

· Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills with a proven ability to work across multiple projects concurrently and a desire to build strong partnerships

· Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry experience
