Social Media Manager – Fashion

Salt has partnered with one of Australia’s leading and fastest-growing retailers of women’s trend-driven, fashion footwear and accessories at affordable price points. This is a perfect opportunity for a fashion-loving, risk-taking, bold-thinking Social Media Manager to join their team.

As part of their senior leadership team, you will focus on developing and implementing the social media strategy for 2 brands to increase their Australian & USA online presence, and engagement & help drive conversions across all social channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES :

• Develop a strong social media plan in line with the broader marketing calendar to grow their social media presence and increase brand awareness
• Manage and implement the social media strategy across multiple digital platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+ and others
• Work closely with the content & creative teams to project manage the required content & assets to bring your ideas & strategic vision to life
• Create and deliver a calendar of impactful brand moments for the national & international social media accounts
• Assist with creating on-brand and engaging content across our social media channels including posts, stories, and videos
• Assist in planning and executing events and regular photoshoots
• Oversee and drive a high standard of community management across both social media accounts – Monitor and report on the performance of social media platforms including conversion, revenue, traffic and growth

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years experience in a similar role, ideally within a heavy consumer-focused market
• Strong leadership skills necessary to drive and execute the social media plan
• A creative flair and passion for all things social and the fashion/footwear industry in general
• Exceptional knowledge and proven results in content creation and experience working across various social platforms
• Ability to multi-task whilst meeting tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment. You’ll be an ideas person and get a great sense of achievement by shooting for the stars.
• A strong desire for growth, development and longevity with a rapidly growing brand.
• A strong understanding of social media trends; you don’t only keep up to date with them, you’re ambitious about setting trends too.
