Account Executive

An exciting role waits for an experienced Account Executive (Business Development Specialist) to join this leading global player, hosting virtual events and meetings by providing the digital platform solutions.

This allows many companies to now host 20 000+ people or where conferences go 3-4 days, or it could be investor relations meeting that must be held urgently over multiple countries and 1000’s of people. They could be doing virtual product launches as well etc. These solutions have become popular for many events and global companies over this Covid period and has been a necessity with major growth.

Supporting you in this role is a great team of inside sales to make you appointments, sales engineers who support you with the client implementation and technical aspects of the solutions. In addition, they have video and marketing collateral to support you and once the sale is closed the after sales team take over and the account management team also then look after the customer.

Their USP is their global reach and presence, plus they have a huge support and service team of about 1500 people to ensure every conference or meeting is delivered successfully. They also have incredible security with their technology and local support on the ground as well. They deliver 24/7 and have Sales Engineers across the different time zones to support.

Experience required:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a sales role, specifically selling into new accounts
  • Understanding and having worked with SAAS product solutions
  • Required experience prospecting and closing net new deals.
  • Prior professional experience working with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter with excellent time-management skills.
  • Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, on short notice, as needed.
