They help their client roster craft powerful narratives that change people’s relationship with their brands – all backed by a current client list such as: Rolls-Royce, SAP, Facebook, Salesforce, Xero, Adobe and so many others.

As Manager of Strategic Partnerships/ Business Development Manager, you will work in the Business Development team and identify sales leads, generate new business and drive revenue growth. In conjunction with Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will develop and execute the Sales Initiative, prepare proposals and lead the live presentations with Sydney’s leading agency groups and brands direct.

Role Responsibilities

  • Pursue new business opportunities.
  • Research prospective clients thoroughly and deliver pitches based on client’s current and predicted future needs.
  • Identify & pursue new opportunities based on their current global target list.
  • Obtain RFP’s and oversee proposal development.
  • Represent the business at industry and networking events.
  • Provide direction for marketing and PR initiatives that will help support sales.
  • Keep abreast of trends and innovation in live events, culture consulting, brand strategy and communications.
  • Cold calling for new business, ensuring a robust pipeline.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.

Qualifications

  • Extensive sales experience within an agency environment
  • A strong passion and natural flair for sales including developing and maintaining relationships with a range of existing and prospective clients.
  • Outstanding presentation skills with a natural ability to talk confidently to large-scale events, experiential and marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong cold-calling and negotiation skills
  • A deep understanding of marketing principles
  • A proven track-record of closing sales
