Our client offers a subscription-based software platform that helps c-suite level executives around the world make better business decisions.

As part of their growth plans this financial year they are looking to strengthen their sales team with an experienced Business Development Manager.

From day 1 this person will receive extensive product training conducted in a one on one environment as well as receiving guidance and coaching from an experienced sales team.

We’re looking for an experienced B2B sales professional who possesses a real hunter mentality. Although this role is focused on outbound activity you will have access to inbound enquiries as well as an extensive database of over 2,000 prospects.

The Role

  • Proactively develop new business opportunities through cold calls and networking activities
  • Deliver online and/or in-person demo and sales presentations
  • Manage a sales pipeline moving each prospect through each stage of the sales cycle whilst adding new prospects to target
  • Develop and build direct relationships with c-suite level executives to best understand their issues to tailor the company’s services

Experience and attributes

We’re looking for a polished and professional Business Development Manager with experience in managing corporate clients at C-suite level.

  • 2 years+ of B2B sales experience (ideally within a financial services organisation)
  • Ability to give product presentations across all levels of an organisation including C-suite
  • Ability to engage with clients across a variety of industries
  • Basic understanding of selling principles and ability to execute a consultative sales approach
  • Knowledge of the “SPIN selling” is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
