We have an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing (and established!) Saas tech start-up as a BDM. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality and a desire to make their mark in a sales driven environment. This role is all about building rapport with customers and converting leads.

Alongside your proactive nature, you are a confident communicator and enjoy client and customer interaction and are familiar with KPI driven environments. About you:

• 3+ years’ experience working in Business Development or Account Management
• Strong sales capabilities
• Exceptional prospecting skills
• Expert at building rapport with customers and clients
• Great communication and presentation skills
• The ability to negotiate
• Excellent closing and negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

• Hunt business in your assigned territory/ area
• Develop qualified leads through prospecting (e.g cold calls, face to face meetings, networking, and referrals)
• Gain a clear understanding of customers business requirements and strategizing to meet customers key requirements and expectations
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and build new relationships with potential customers
• Follow up and follow through with each prospect using your organisational skills
• Maintain accurate records of activity and using the companies CRM programs
• Utilising your excellent communication skills to deliver a seamless sales experience from start to finish
