About the job

You will be responsible for engaging with new and existing merchants to deliver new revenue streams for the company. This role is primarily working face – face with merchants and provides the flexibility to follow up on meetings & organise your day-to-day requirements from home.

The Role & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for growing the company’s merchant network in Brisbane through face-face contact. This will look like:

• Adopting a consultative sales approach to accelerate merchant acquisition across the platform.
• Run a full sales cycle from prospecting, making contact, and pitching to closing.
• Cross-selling and up-selling while building strong client relationships.
• Assist with onboarding new merchants.
• Present product updates and features to new and existing merchants
• Sharing ideas and innovating on your sales approach.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous sales experience in hospitality software or apps and a strong understanding of the digital landscape – particularly digital applications for hospitality.
• Proven ability to generate and win new business.
• Excellent questioning techniques and relationship building ability with clients.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to actively listen and uncover needs-based sales opportunities.
• Are highly organised with the ability to multi-task to achieve objectives.
