About the Role/Company

Salt Recruitment has partnered with a global company that is looking for a star Business Development Representative following an internal promotion.

Through outbound prospecting and inbound sales leads, the Business Development Representative will be focused on building & maintaining relationships being the first point of contact with new clients.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities through meetings or demo bookings for the sales team to close. This will require a strong understanding of the client’s business needs & and the ability to provide solutions through the company’s product features and services.

You are ambitious & a natural communicator and looking to build your career in a global digital marketing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new business opportunities through inbound inquiries as well as outbound prospecting
  • Research accounts to identify key players and generate new business interest
  • Build relationships with prospective clients by gaining insight into their businesses, enabling you to provide solutions for their omnichannel marketing requirements
  • Work closely with the sales team to bring in and secure new accounts
  • Develop & continually grow your product & industry knowledge
  • Utilise CRM software to record activity, monitor, and advance opportunities
  • Where required be present and involved in events & partnership meetings

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience within a B2B Sales Development Role
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or Technology preferred but not essential
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you must enjoy engaging with others regularly
  • Professional and composed – you’ll be the first point of contact for prospects
  • Tech-savvy and passionate about technology solutions
  • Very organised and process-driven; capable of multi-tasking with good time-management
  • Comfortable in a target driven environment
