My client, one of New Zealand’s fastest growing tech start-ups who sit at the intersection of tech and media is looking to establish their presence in Australia with a business-critical, self-starter “Head of Sales” or “Country Manager” hire.
This business is contemporary, inventive and ambitious and are a major disruptor revolutionising the Architecture and Building landscape.
They have a cutting-edge, dynamic, all in one platform built on exceptional design and world class engineering that has quickly become a game changing industry leader. The platform provides millions of people with a one stop destination for all things architecture and building. They monetise through a subscription model connecting product suppliers and service providers in the building, architecture and design industries with buyers.
The role requires the business qualities of a Head of Sales, possibly a Country Manager. Someone with a successful track record of setting up and building companies in Australia. You will possess the ability to setup the office, manage the P&L, hire the Sales and Customer Success teams, invest capital into Marketing and Operations all while leading from the front growing revenue and building credibility in Australia. This is a new market for them with next to no clients however resource from NZ is very much available.
It is your classic roll your sleeves up and get stuck in role, which needs someone with masses of energy, drive and time but very importantly we need someone who can execute well! The role is targeted towards the leaders of business or middle management stars looking to step up and who have successfully built and grown a business and sales machine from the ground up!
In addition, it comes with a competitive base salary of up to $180K (banding is $150K-$180K DOE and role type), plus a comprehensive bonus plan, Super and company options.
