Head of Sales (SaaS booking platform)

My client, a SaaS-Enabled marketplace booking platform that is revolutionising a $6.2 trillion-dollar global industry, is looking to expand their presence in Australia with a business-critical, self-starter “Head of Sales” hire.

This business is a global start-up who are contemporary, inventive and ambitious with multiple established and high performing offices across the globe.

They have a multi award-winning high-traffic booking platform that has quickly become a game changing industry leader with users in over 130 countries. They are trusted by millions of customers who transact millions of appointment bookings monthly with thousands of businesses worldwide.

This role is targeted towards middle management stars with 4-6 years of sales and sales management experience. You will have a background in the internet, software / SaaS or e-commerce sectors, ideally with a blend of Marketplace experience, and you will be able to demonstrate how you have successfully built and scaled high performing sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within an assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand their partner base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting partner relationships.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Lead and motivate a high performing sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
  • Develop and implement a sales processes and system, setting monthly/quarterly/annual targets/plans.
  • Evaluate best approach to supply creation in the assigned territory.
  • Establish a sales training and onboarding plan for new sales team members.
  • Identify and maximise revenue generation opportunities within the sales function.

For this role you need to be tenacious, sophisticated and have the following skill set:

  • At least 4+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong sales skills and track record of business development success.
  • Strong knowledge of the beauty and wellness industry is a plus.
  • History of exceeding revenue targets.
  • You are a self-starter, capable of driving yourself to your targets.
  • Experience in a high-growth business environment or start-up a plus.
