Analytics & Performance Manager

Our client is hoping to uplift and transform their data practices to better help families across all of Victoria. This leadership role will build on the existing good work that the organisation provides, while actively monitoring and reviewing data to establish the effectiveness of programs and activities to ensure they meet the needs of those with whom the organisation work.

Provide leadership and management of data/reporting to ensure an increase in the use of data to inform decision making in relation to:

  • Demonstration of the impact of services to stakeholders.
  • Improving or expanding service delivery and innovation
  • Continuous improvement across all functions
  • The development and efficacy of evidence-based models
  • Identification and management of risks to clients, staff, and service delivery

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build a roadmap for data modernisation and deliver to target state.
  • Lead a small team with a hands-on approach as to “stand in their shoes” if leave is taken.
  • Build the capability and sustainability of functions across the team
  • Development of the teams Mission Impact outcomes framework
  • Designing dashboards created from relevant data.
  • Assist in annual report data.
  • Setting targets for performance, reporting against reformed programs
  • Work with IT to improve data integrity through systems, people, and processes

The skills you’ll need to succeed:

  • Comprehensive understanding and experience in data research, analytics, and evaluation.
  • Experience in advanced data analytics technical skills and management of data-focussed teams and projects.
  • Capacity to extract, manipulate and present data in an innovative, attractive, and user-friendly way.
  • Experience in establishing and managing key relationships across an organisation, from senior executives/management to front line staff, as well as building rapport with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management – ensuring projects are well planned, appropriate consultation is achieved, deliverables are on time and of a high quality and meet objectives.
