Salt is partnering with one of Australia’s leading banks in search of an Associate Director, Divisional Controls Cloud Technology. You have a strong background in risk, controls and compliance, with experience in Cloud Technology. Strong experience in risk management and regulatory compliance disciplines, including control development.

About the role

As our Associate Director you will be responsible for:

• Accountable for providing risk and control specialist guidance to senior leaders
• Passionate about taking a leading role in driving the controls transformation agenda with a specific focus on improving the control environment using PACE methodology, key to achieving an uplift in intelligent controls scores
• A plain-speaking risk professional with high commercial acumen and excellent ability to influence
• Strategic, resilient and resourceful
• Focus on Cloud technology

About you

You are an experienced risk and controls professional with the ability to operate in a high performing team that takes a practical approach to solving issues and adapts to changing priorities quickly. You have a strong background in risk, controls and compliance, ideally with experience in product management and design, or in a distribution or retail environment. This role is critical in driving risk and controls awareness, understanding, and change to create a centre of excellence for controls.

• 5+ years’ experience in operational risk management
• Comprehensive knowledge of risk management and compliance disciplines
• Practical approach to solving issues with strong commercial acumen
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience in first line supporting a line of business
