Salt is partnering with an Australian mental health and wellbeing support organisation in search of a Business Intelligence Engineer.
About The Role
The Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining automated reporting solutions and providing insights and recommendations across the organisation. This is a highly technical role that works with a variety of data sources, with a focus on digital analytics and insights. Familiarity with Azure, PowerBI and SQL Server is essential.
Your key accountabilities will include:
Experience in data architecture development and management, data asset management and data modelling techniques (conceptual, logical and physical data modelling).
Experience in enterprise information solutions and capabilities such as master data management, meta data management, analytics, data integration and migration, data quality assessment etc.
Experience in contemporary data platforms including Cloud based technologies, specifically Azure technology stack.
Knowledge in data architecture, data warehousing techniques, SQL, and database design key concepts (data vault and others).
Develop and manage a regular cycle of reports, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Create real-time dashboards in PowerBI to monitor performance and provide regular optimisation recommendations team.
Provide training to staff on using analytics tools and platforms.
Have a creative flair for data visualisation and data storytelling.
Take ownership of the compilation and distribution of regular reports to stakeholders.
What you will bring
Strong usage and design in PowerBI visualisation techniques
Experienced in Azure technology stack – ADF, ADLS and SQL Server
Experience working with ELT/ELT toolsets such as SSIS/ ADF
Experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect or similar
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git repos
Experience in data modelling concepts physical and logical modelling
Ability to build relationships and coordinate reporting with many internal and external stakeholders.
