Salt is partnering with one of Australia’s leading banks in search of a Senior Consultant (Technical Lead).
The purpose of this role is to provide support and be responsible for capability uplift of the Unsecured CPM Analytical team, in addition to the delivery of key initiatives and projects.
About The Role
End-to-end ownership of assigned initiatives and deliverables, including producing recommendations, stakeholder management and leading analysts
Provide day to day support to analysts with technical questions, such as coding/ data queries
Contribute to strategic uplift of capability across the team through training, knowledge sharing
Provide feedback on presentations, coding and document reviews
Assist the Unsecured CPM Leadership Team in quarterly/annual planning and prioritisation process
Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).

About You
Tertiary qualification in relevant field ie. Commerce/Mathematics/Finance
Demonstrated and working experience with data platforms in SAS and SQL
Experience in Credit Risk
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience with Python would be helpful, but other coding language is also good.
