Great opportunity for a data engineer to join a leading consultancy in the Data and BI field. The ideal candidate is equally a data wrangler and data pipeline builder. We are looking for an individual who can work in a variety of environments and can effectively execute on complex and diverse problems.

A data engineer with this consultancy will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of architecture and analytics projects for clients, and managing the data pipeline supporting the migration project. The candidate ideally would have some familiarity of working in a consulting capacity for companies, and practical experience in digital transformations or ETL focused roles in the past.

It is paramount to have relevant experience in big data workflows, and can specifically outline how they would tackle designing and executing on data intensive application problems. You must be able to approach each unique problem with a holistic view of the organizations you will be working with, and have the ability to prescribe optimal solutions and data stack.

Ideally, we are seeking an engineer who also has some Talend experience who can understand SAS codes but also help other data engineers with the work to migrate the SAS codes with Talend.

ETL background

• Talend skills (any version)
• SAS skills including SAS ETL migration
• AWS experience and working knowledge
• Clear communication skills

6 months contract to begin with.
