Data Science Manager

One of Australia’s largest financial institutions is looking for a strong Data Scientist who can deliver best in class customer and industry initiatives, strives for operational excellence and can wrangle data as well as they can people. This is a great opportunity to create and manage a team of strong Data Science professionals, while also paving the way by use of all the latest cloud technologies.

About this Opportunity:

• Create and manage a team of Data Scientists who will assist you in achieving your goals.
• Create analytics tools and models to evaluate initiatives and ensure their outcomes.
• Generate insights from data gathered in multiple large resources.
• Solve complex business challenges using data.
• Embed the use of cloud technologies across the organisation.

About you:

• Predictive and financial modelling experience.
• Able to effectively translate data insights, and related actionable insights, to senior stakeholders.
• Machine Learning experience, using tech such as Python, R, and/or SQL.
• Visualisation experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau.
• Able to perform sourcing, cleansing, joining and ETL of data.
