DevOps Engineer – Melbourne

The Company

Salt is excited to have teamed up with a established Healthcare organisation based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join one of their Engineering teams on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be joining our Healthcare client’s DevOps team, where you’ll be working in an AWS environment and will be responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring the platform infrastructure.

Key Skills and Competencies

The successful DevOps Engineer should have the following skill set:

• Extensive experience with AWS
• Hands on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• In depth experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s, EKS)
• Proficient with relational Databases (RDS, PostgresSQL)
• Understanding of various programming languages (Python, Java, Go)
• Strong knowledge working with Linux operating systems
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
