Full Stack Java Developer – Melbourne CBD

The Company

Salt is excited to have partnered with one of Australia’s leading Financial Services organisations based in Melbourne CBD, who is currently seeking various Full Stack Java Developers to join one of their digital engineering teams on initial 12 month contracts, which are due to start early November.

The Role

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you’ll be joining one of our Financial Services client’s innovative digital engineering teams, where you’ll help with development of a new Payments Platform as part of a large-scale transformation project.

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful Full Stack Java Developer should have the following skill set;

Essential Skills

• Expertise working with Java related technologies
• Extensive experience with Java 8+
• Commercial experience working with Micro service architectures (Springboot)
• Experienced with SQL databases
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and CI / CD
• In depth understanding of Public Cloud Plaforms (AWS, GCP)
• Proficient in Unit Testing and TDD (Cucumber, Jmeter, Selenium, RestAssured)
• Hands-on experience with various Frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React.js, Angular)
• Solid understanding of Security best practices
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
