Helpdesk / Service Desk Manager – Contract Immediate start

The main functions of the Help Desk Manager is to provide leadership and direction to junior level, handle escalations of difficult problems, and monitor, analyse, and report trends to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical assistance with computer hardware and software
• Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or remotely
• Broad knowledge of IT industry related fields
• Recommend hardware and software improvements
• Track customer issues and resolutions
• Supervisory duties related to Help Desk Team
• Monitor and analyse Service desk tickets to improve the response and resolution times.
• Understand desktop application deployment processes and improve them
• Communicates effectively and professionally with users, customers, and other IT personnel.
• Create and manage escalation procedures and ensure service levels are maintained.

Skills and Qualification:

• Previous advanced experience in IT
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Positive and professional demeanor
