What you’ll be doing

• Work on diverse projects and write lots of high-quality code.

• Research prospective technologies and prototype new solutions.

• Analyze business requirements and design new software solutions.

• Collaborate on project specifications and technical documentation.

• Participate in software development, code reviews, and test automation.

• Liaise with third-parties to gather requirements and provide 3rd level support.

• At least 5 years of software development experience in Java / Kotlin / Scala ecosystems

• At least 2 years of integration middleware development experience
• At least 2 years of experience with Akka framework
• At least 2 years of experience with Docker
• At least 5 years of experience with Git

Knowledge and Skills

• Profound understanding of and relevant hands-on experience in

• Object-oriented programming and design

• Functional programming

• Microservice architecture

• Scalable and resilient architecture

• Extensive experience in the design and implementation of REST and SOAP APIs

• Experience in developing applications for cloud environment, preferably AWS

• Extensive experience with RDBMS, preferably MySQL

• Extensive experience in implementing unit and integration tests

• Solid understanding of BDD

• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes

• Well-versed in Linux environment and command line tools

Desirable:

• GraphQL experience

• Gradle experience

• MongoDB experience

• Message queue and stream processing experience

• Swagger / Open API experience
