Java Developer – Melbourne CBD

The Company

Salt is excited to have partnered with one of Australia’s leading Financial Services organisations based in Melbourne CBD, who is currently seeking a Java Developer to join one of their digital engineering teams on initial 6 month contract, which are due to start ASAP.

The Role

As a Java Developer, you’ll be joining one of our Financial Services client’s innovative digital engineering teams, where you’ll help with development of complex APIs and Micro services, as part of a large-scale migration project which is using some of the latest platforms and technologies.

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful Java Developer should have the following skill set;

Essential Skills

• Expertise in Java related technologies
• Extensive experience with Java 8+
• Strong knowledge of building Web APIs
• Commercial experience working with Micro service architectures (Spring boot)
• Hands-on knowledge with Public Cloud Platforms (AWS)
• Proficient in building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in an Agile environment
