Our client, a leading SaaS platform is seeking a Support Analyst for an initial 12 month contract. This organisation has consistently won Forbes awards for ‘Best Place to Work’ and a leader in their industry.
The role will start before Christmas and includes a paid break over the festive season for contractors.
Responsibilities
The job requires a strong customer service orientation – the Analyst needs to be highly motivated by helping others resolve problems.
Responsible for quickly restoring user to perform normal functions on users Laptop, application, IT Tools.
Responsible for diagnosing, assessing, appropriately circumventing and/or finding remedies for incidents and service requests
Working knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for Windows Operating Systems and MAC Operating Systems
Working knowledge of telephony and related equipment
Working knowledge of workforce and business applications such as MS office, VPN software, BlueJeans, Encryption, exchange,etc
Working knowledge of hardware and software installation procedures and techniques.
Working knowledge of Audio/Video support
Should have intermediate skills in Active Directory, Network LAN concepts.
Should have intermediate skills in Scripting such as VB Script, Power Shell, etc
The successful candidate will have:
Desktop support experience in a Global Enterprise Environment.
Experience with LANDesk, CASPER, desktop backup software (e.g. inSync), Bitlocker, Windows and MAC desktop OS, Windows, Linux Server OS, a plus.
Experience supporting, operating and maintaining desktops and servers
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills
Nice to have:
ITIL Foundation Certified
MCSE
LANDesk
CCNA
