Release Train Engineer

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive project management experience, relating to major IT and or Business projects
  • Previous experience as a Release Train Engineer would be ideal
  • Experience across Agile and adaptive delivery models and mindsets
  • Track record of strong experience operating effectively and delivering consistent results in a large complex business
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, analytics, and business process-based solutions
  • Dealing with key stakeholders from all parts of the business
  • Strong leadership skills: proven ability to manage competing demands.
  • Being able to work within a dynamic and diverse environment
  • Mandatory knowledge of, and experience within Agile environments, Lean, SAFe
  • Managed multiple scrum and Agile teams across multiple domains
  • Key responsibilities will be to facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning such as estimation/creation of iteration/schedule and breakdown of work.
  • Understanding of portfolio/ program management and awareness of prioritisation
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindsets and promote a collaborative team environment

To be successful in this position you must be someone who has previously led major transformations across Enterprise level.

Someone who is not shy and can manage competing demands across multiple streams of the business.

The right candidate will be a leader across Agile Release Train (ART), who supports and leads the implementation of scaled Agile frameworks and methods.
