Senior Analyst – IT Audit

You will support the planning, execution, and reporting of Audit activity as set out in the annual Audit Plan.

What you’ll be doing:

• Efficient delivery and documentation of quality audit workpapers in the systems of record, including walkthroughs, control identification, control design assessments and control operating effectiveness testing

• Efficient verification of audit raised issues within internal SLA targets once the business indicate issues are complete, supported by quality workpapers

• Efficient planning and delivery of Cybersecurity and Technology audits, covering Security Operations, Security Testing, Emerging technologies (Containerisation, Cloud, Pipeline, etc.), Security Architecture, IAM, Active Directory and Platform infrastructure

• Plan and project manage delivery of audits within agreed resource and time budgets

• Draft succinct and clear audit assignment plans that reflect agreed scope

• Form effective working relationships with business contacts during audits so information can be gathered and facts verified, and escalate delivery problems where they cannot be directly solved

• Demonstrate continuous learning in the field of information security by acquiring industry recognized certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, CCSP, etc; and gaining knowledge about current security tools and technologies

The skills you’ll need to succeed:

We are looking for someone with the ability to collaborate with all levels of management to develop and agree practical outcomes, and it would be ideal if you have an understanding of using Data Analysis to support audit outcomes. To succeed in this role, you must be able to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment and have:

• >5 years’ internal or external IT audit experience
• Supplier governance, data and/or IT General Controls experience
• Relevant IT audit certification (i.e. CISA, CISSM, CISSP)
• Ability to engage and communicate with influence across a wide range of stakeholders
• Prior supplier governance and/or IT General Control experience will be highly regarded
