Senior Data Architect

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to blend their technical and business expertise to make a difference in our projects and operations. As a self-led individual contributor, you will be responsible for helping teams realize value from roadmaps and technical designs that you contribute to. With experience working across Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions, you will have a desire to drive positive changes through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive the definition of the overall architecture for IT Solutions in a project or program, ensuring compliance with and advancement of overall enterprise architecture
• Ensure that the overall architecture is agreed upon and endorsed by all stakeholders, and identify and evaluate possible solution options
• Identify opportunities and ensure fit to enterprise architecture and standards, and manage any architecture issues or exemptions required
• Ensure the architecture is implemented in accordance with design throughout the lifecycle of the project or program, and manage changes to design by ensuring stakeholders are informed and in agreement
• Responsibility for traceability of solutions against project or program objectives and requirements

Key Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect, with expertise in Databricks (essential) and other data lake and AI/ML technologies (Snowflake, Spark, Hive, Beam, etc.)
• Knowledge of both contemporary (Azure/AWS) and traditional (Oracle Exadata, Teradata, etc.) data lake and data warehouse technologies
• Knowledge of metadata management (Informatica EDC, Axon)
• Proven knowledge of data lineage and data catalogues
• Experience with implementations of the Datavault 2 model, architecture, and methodology (CDVP2 or equivalent)
• Skilled at business requirements analysis and designing solution architectures
• Excellent soft skills, including stakeholder management
• Development and evolution of target state architectures
• QA of technical delivery.
