Senior DevOps Engineer – Melbourne CBD

The Company

Salt is pleased to have partnered with one of Australia’s leading Financial Services organisations based in Melbourne CBD, who is currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fast-paced Engineering teams on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be joining one of our Financial Services Engineering teams, where you’ll be involved in an exciting project helping them to build and deliver a new Enterprise platform.

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer should have the following skillset;

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer, including Automation experience
• Extensive experience with Public Cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bit Bucket, GIT, AWS, Spring Boot, Artifactory or Java)
• Demonstrated experience in configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Commercial experience with container technology / orchestration (ECS, EKS)
• Strong knowledge of various Monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Puppeteer)
• Understanding of various programming languages (Python, Groovy, Java, Node.js)
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
