Senior Full Stack Engineer

Salt is excited to partner with the market leader in fintech industry, third largest SaaS company in the world, who is looking for a Full Stack Engineer.

As a Full Stack Engineer you will be working in an Agile development team, this role will require close and continuous collaboration with fellow team members to translate user stories and functional requirements into resilient & secure technical designs which will be implemented as production-ready application code using JavaScript – React and Java technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Full lifecycle application design and development using JavaScript – React.js – Java;
• Roughly 90% hands-on technical work;
• Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues related to code quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks;
• Work within cross-functional scrum teams with product management and experience design to deliver solutions to solve customer or technology problems;
• Knowledge and experience preferred CI/CD – Cloud experience

Key Skills and competences:

The successful candidate should have the following skill set:

• Proven experience as a software engineer / developer – Java / Spring;
• Experience contributing to modern front-end codebases leveraging technologies such as React, Typescript;
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures & algorithms) and their practical application;
• Ability to read and understand existing codebases as well as working on new projects;
• Understanding of software development life cycle, including CI/CD and testing best practices;
• Ability to communicate effectively with both product management and fellow engineers;
• Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
