Our client is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with strong Linux System Engineering background to join their high performing tech team. This role requires the successful candidate to have the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance and is open to Australian citizens only.

Responsibilities:

• Strong communication skills with an ability to relay incident details efficiently and effectively
• Strong organisational skills with extremely high level of attention to detail
• Identify, receive, triage and act upon events and incidents coming from various SaaS
• Monitor the availability or the CI/CD environments
• Previous knowledge or strong desire to learn about crisis management issues
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams and part of a world-wide operations team

Skills:

• Engineering Experience with a proven track record of delivering highly available and scalable systems
• Strong LAMP stack skills (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP)
• Building tools and scripting frameworks from scratch
• Strong in Python scripting skills
• Experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes, Docker and proven at an enterprise level
• Strong networking and infrastructure experience
• Strong with public cloud architecture AWS/Azure
• Excellent communication skills essential to work as part of a global team
