Our SaaS based client currently has an opportunity for mid level software engineer to join their Technical Team. This role would see the successful candidate utilising their communication and technical skills with excellent knowledge of Java and JavaScript. You would be an imperative part of the team and must have proven experience working in a similar environment or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Experience within Software development and DevOps teams – Java – Javascript
• Analyzes systems and assist with bug fixing, code review, performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements.
• Ensures completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure to support system performance
• Keeps informed of emerging technologies.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years development and bug fixing.
• Proven experience and knowledge of Java and JavaScript programming
• Advanced technical knowledge in technology methodologies, design, and implementation.
• Excellent analytical and design skills at multi-product/multi-environment level.
• Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Linux, Apache/ Tomcat, MySQL
• Understanding of cloud technologies
• Knowledge of Angular, backbone.js, Node, jQuery, Prototype.
• Experience with scripting languages Bash, Python or Perl are also highly regarded for this role
• Able to resolve problems in a timely manner. PC’s, hardware equipment, various database and software applications, and networking systems.
