Solution Designer – Melbourne CBD

The Company

Salt is excited to have partnered with one of Australia’s leading Financial Services organisations, who is currently seeking a Solution Designer to join one of their digital engineering teams based in Melbourne CBD on initial 12-month contract, which are due to start ASAP.

The Role

As a Solution Designer, you will be joining one of our Financial Services client’s innovative digital engineering teams, where you will be leading the high-level design of all digital channels and their integration with backend systems.

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful Solution Designer should have the following skillset;

Essential Skills

• Ensure that the solution design complies solution architecture and business requirements
• Previous experience in providing solution design across full project lifecycle
• Provide assessment of high-level design options to meet architecture principles
• Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with various Business Stakeholders
• Identify any potential gaps and risks in within the solution architecture
• Identify non-functional requirement related issues (Security, Capacity, Performance)
• Knowledge of various technologies, including; Frontend (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), API and Micro services development (Java, Node.js)
