Strategy Manager – WFH

6 moths Contract role (with possibility of extension)

This role is with one of the largest Government departments. The Strategy Manager is responsible for the provision of high-level strategic support and advice for the development of the departments data reform agenda. This includes the development of the departments long-term strategy and plans, and management of engagements with a broad range of stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design and formulate strategies relating to the departments data reform agenda, leveraging research and analysis to identify areas of risk, gaps, trends, emerging issues and ongoing needs
• Actively identify, analyse and seek innovative solutions to transform the departments data practices across all life cycle stages, using contemporary examples, networks, tools and research
• Work in partnership with relevant internal teams to ensure a holistic and integrated approach that is responsive to business needs and in line with the department’s other strategic priorities
• Support and facilitate initiatives that enhance data as a mainstream function through strategic planning, data maturity improvements, advanced analytics and data management initiatives
• Consult with relevant stakeholders on the review or development of any new data reform programs, policies, systems or processes, including facilitating co-design workshops
• Prepare accurate and relevant strategic plans, schedules, briefings and reports to inform executive decision making, strategic planning process and alignment of strategy to business requirements
• Develop and present concepts and potential solutions to senior leaders while managing expectations and influencing others to achieve data reform outcomes

Start date – ASAP, post clearance of preemployment checks

Duration – 6 months

Rate – $1250 per day + Super

Location – Parramatta, CBD
