System Engineer

Detailed knowledge Windows server administration and O365 Extensive experience planning and supporting high performance / highly available mission critical enterprise servers. This role performs senior level technical support and manages enterprise level technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Configure, Update, Support VMWare and windows server solutions to accommodate rapidly expanding requirements.
• Design, implement and oversees all AD and server administration requirements.
• Plan, manage and complete complex systems projects.
• Scale, maintain, monitor, analyse, and improve VMWare infrastructure across multiple data centres
• Implement and maintain global infrastructure, monitoring and controls supporting companies customer base.
• Manage the day-to-day requirements of the business as it relates to our server infrastructure. (Customer server deployments, access, security and administration)
• Design and implement automation solutions to support new customers, new sites and expanding data centres.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to our virtual and physical server infrastructure, for internal and external informational use and as required by regulatory authorities.
• Troubleshoot critical issues across physical, virtual and global locations.
• Evaluate hardware and modify system performance globally.
• Ensures systems meet Compliance, Information Security, Risk and Disaster Recovery programs, policies and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a senior systems administrator s role.
• Ability to lead VMWare, AD, Windows Server and supporting tools projects with minimal oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
