The Company

Salt is excited to have partnered with a leading Healthcare organisation based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking a Systems Admin to join one of their Applications teams on a permanent basis.

The Role

As an Systems Admin, you will:

• Be required to provide Level 1 support across 40+ application, severs and databases
• Ensure application operating systems, software systems, and related procedures promote and maintain business continuity
• Assist project teams resolve technical issues through their initiation and planning phases
• Help to resolve tickets
• Identify, Troubleshoot and Escalate any issues
• Liaise with the application owners and third party vendors

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful Systems Admin should have the following skill set:

• Extensive experience working as a Systems Admin or Application Support Analyst
• Experience in Application installation, upgrades, configuration, and patching
• Strong knowledge in providing support across several programming languages (Java, .NET, Perl)
• Experience Application management scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Perl, Python)
• Hands on knowledge of various Databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• Proficient in Database Management (Backup, Restore, Performance Tuning, Monitoring)
• Expertise working with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
