Technical System Administrator

Seeking a Technical System Administrator to come join a well-respected government IT team, working across various high-level projects in Perth’s inner north.

• Responsible for the design, configuration and administration of the organisations Server, Network and Security IT infrastructure.
• Max salary is $100,000 + Superannuation.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Technical Infrastructure Lead this position is an important part of the team responsible for the design, configuration and administration of the Server, Network and Security IT infrastructure of the organisation.

We are ideally seeking a strong team player that has strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products and has a solid grasp of how to solve complex issues when they arise.

• Integration and deployment to cloud services such as Office 366.
• Administration of a large Windows and VMWare server fleet.
• Router, switch, load balancer, firewall and web content filter configuration and management.
• Developing, updating, and implementing documentation, standards, policies, and procedures.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Microsoft MCSE Certified or extensive experience
• VMware VCP Certified or extensive experience.
• Experience with storage array management.
• Office 365 / Azure.
• Cisco Routing and Switching.
