Skills & Experience
An Enterprise Data Architect with at least +7 years’ experience leading significant enterprise and data architecture work streams and engagements, ideally in a consulting capacity
Recent and practical domain experience in the following
Retail, Point of Sale, Downstream, Oil and Gas, Supply Chain
Enterprise Architecture experience:
Promoting Application Integration patterns and good practice (APIs, queues, caching etc.)
Hands on experience and certification with hyperscale platforms (eg AWS, MS Azure, GCP)
Serving as advisor to senior business management on business and information integration strategies
Understanding technology product and vendor strategies, products, and customer preferences
Mapping business requirements to solutions and able to develop outline business case
Design and deployment of scalable, highly available and resilient solutions
Identify and evangelise appropriate use of architectural best practices
Update and maintenance of the key Enterprise Architecture deliverables.
Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
Implementing micro services and containers
Implementing DevOps practices such as IaC and CICD
Plus the following of the following areas:
Enterprise and Solution Architecture
Application portfolio rationalisation
Agile / DevOps / Scaled Agile ways of working and related automation
Knowledge of relevant standard frameworks as ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF would be beneficial
Experience working with near shore and offshore delivery arm highly desirable
Data Architecture experience:
Establishing and educating on Data Governance and MDM
Guide and perform Data Modelling (SQL, No-SQL,)
Data Architecture (On-prem, Cloud/AWS, Federation, Data Lakes, Data WH)
Data Engineering (Wrangling, integration, preparation, transformation)
Data Exploration & Analytics

Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate within the firm and leverage existing resources
