My client is a leading global specialist currency exchange provider. They provide dedicated international money transfers around the world, providing comprehensive money exchange services to minimise the risk for customers. Their services include standard currency exchange, forward exchange transactions, and more for individual users and businesses. They pride themselves in being reliable, offering a very high-quality service whilst offering trustworthy exchange rates.

We are looking for a Digital and performance savvy Head of Digital Marketing to lead their digital and growth transformation plan for the EMEA region. They generate tens of thousands of leads a year with expectations to more than triple this in the coming year. This person will launch the EMEA digital business on to the next level of growth from a scale up to a corporate global leader. The Head of Digital Performance Marketing will be tasked with the full digital life cycle of developing, implementing, maintaining, and running the sales and marketing funnels for the EMEA Region with the objective of developing brand awareness and providing our selling channels with sales-ready leads.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of start-up/hands on experience but also has the capability of developing the digital function once it meets it triple growth plans and continue to support the growth of an established and corporate business. They will need deep experience in B2B marketing automation, data management, and campaign management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a 5 year plan taking the business from a scale up to a corporate entity and beyond.
  • Develop and lead multiple channel paid lead gen capability – inc. PPC, paid social etc
  • Develop and implement SEO capability to include technical; domain authority; content
  • Own and deliver market leading websites across multiple EMEA geographies (to include UX, content, SEO, CRO, compliance requirements)
  • Digital amplification of content and comms through owned social media handles and content syndication networks
  • Develop and implement online partnerships and affiliations
  • Develop a small team and enable their success through this rapid growth plan
  • Manage agency relationships and delivery

Key requirements

  • Must have at least 10 years Digital Marketing and Automation experience and ideally 3 – 5 years head of experience.
  • Must have a degree in digital marketing.
  • Will have experience in a start up and large FTSE 100 companies and has led a growth transformation project before.
  • Ability to develop a vision and future roadmap combined with the ability to drive the detail required for successful deployment.
  • Proven track record of creation and delivery of successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong commercial outlook and the ability to manage project delivery through internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven and comfortable with reporting and analytics as the campaigns and projects you run will have a demonstrable impact on the business.
