Duration: 6 months initially

Rate: Circa €550 – €650 per day

  • The team is responsible for a full set of activities covering both Capacity and Performance aspects.
  • It produces the “capacity plan” on a yearly basis and performs monthly follow ups; it collects the demand and forecasts the need in term of IT infrastructure; it handles capacity and performance operations to prevent Capacity and/or Performance incidents.
  • All of this is done keeping in mind the cost impact (hardware and software) of the banks IT infrastructure evolution.
  • The team is also involved in various projects, ensuring that an application is rightly sized and well-tuned before going in production.
  • Via the projects, capacity indicators are selected to report on resource usage, quality of services and Business volumes evolution.
  • Based on this, the team develops models to correlate resource consumption with volumes changes and quality of service.

Your Part of the deal

In that context of activity, efficient data collection and reporting is key.

  • The decision has been taken to develop a Capacity Management portal based on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • The aim of this Capacity Portal is to automate our data collection and reporting and step by step replace our Excel base reporting. It will further bring visibility of main capacity drivers of the banks Infrastructure.
  • The Capacity Web Portal needs to be improved in several areas (new look and feel, security implementation, new reporting development).
  • The team is therefore looking for a profile experimented in the setup of Microsoft Web Portal (including securing the accesses) and SSRS reporting development, in order to speed up the setup of this new portal and help the team deploying the reports.

Your Profile

You are a Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) expert. You are able to understand the requirements of you customer and translate them into an efficient reporting.

You have good communication skills (written and spoken) and have a collaborative mindset.

You can work autonomously. You are dynamic and can take initiative.

You are Continuous Improvement oriented and ready to propose and drive improvement ideas.

In term of Technical Skills, you have knowledge in:

  • Full stack development
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2015
  • Microsoft .NET- VB.NET (HTML – CSS – Javascript)
  • Webforms, Users Controls.
  • Telerik WebForms Components
  • Microsoft SQL Server Objects creation/modification
  • Write Complex SQL Queries
  • Object Oriented Development
  • Microsoft TFS
  • Microsoft IIS
