Java/AEM Developer – Banking – Hybrid

Day rate: £600 – £900 (inside IR35)

My exciting new client is looking for a Java/AEM Developer

• Core Java and JavaScript Programming skills is a MUST, candidate should know Java 8 or above, should be comfortable writing code in functional style (e.g. lambda streams etc), we would request to write code if needed.

• AEM
• Caching fundamentals, how different modules (Author, Publisher, Webserver) interact with each other
• URL resolution
• Workflows
• Servlets
• Schedulers
• OSGI Annotations
• Sightly
• Sling Models

• Component Inheritance and Development
• Custom Dialogs
• MSM
• Launches

• DevOps, AWS Serverless Stack skills are good to have, expectation is they are willing to work on this.

• Candidate should know WHY a solution design is built in a particular way, what are other alternative solutions, not just how to write a simple component. We would be asking scenario based questions on how would one go about solutioning a particular problem

• Good to have – Skills with DAM, AEM Editable Templates, Experience or Content Fragments, AEM as a Cloud Service, AEM Headless, React.
