Role

My client is aiming at enabling an new Event Streaming Service based on Kafka that will be consumed at corporate level.

The position sits in within the Communication and Integration Services (CIS) squad. Your objective will be to support and guide in the enablement of this new platform, and your duties will mainly consist in:

• Bringing together and run a community of interested people around Kafka;
• Collect and analyze requirements to define standards based on market best practices;
• Describe the governance elements to put in place for a successful enablement;
• Define integration of Kafka service consumption in CICD pipelines;
• Support the CIS Squad with the enablement of the Event based service platform.

Technical Skills

Your main area of expertise sits around Kafka:

• Apache Kafka suite
• Confluent solutions
• Expertise from both the consumer/developer and operation roles
• Market best practices

You are familiar with on-premise and cloud implementations of Kafka solutions
