The contractor is supposed to act independently on selected work packages according to its own expertise and skills within the Store experience – Shared Backend project.
Services will be coordinated iteratively between the parties within the framework of sprint meetings (every three weeks) and implemented independently by the contractor within the sprints (3 weeks duration) following the sprint meetings. The Contractor will check before each sprint meeting the scrum backlog, on the basis of on its own professional opinion/skills, which individual services it considers. Daily stand-ups 15 minutes every morning.
The client is providing all necessary information, contact details, documentation, access rights in form of individual onboarding pages prepared in advance in Confluence to be accessible anytime by the external consultant, independent of internal support.

For the testing there will be handed out a task documentation beforehand in which any escalation process is described.
The contractor will set up a plan for testing (part of project plan) within smartsheet.
Prepare weekly and monthly briefings on project status to management (steering board updates either written or in form of presentation in a meeting).
Create and maintain project plan and timelines in smartsheet according to the contractor’s own expertise.
task delivery of product team members according to defined work packages (user stories), using Agile methodologies.
Plan, participate and partially facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning meeting, sprint closing meeting, retro perspectives). The contractor will professionally consult on the project status and Scrum execution. The contractor will act as an external consultant towards other externals.
Identify skills and resource gaps in the product team and report to management (product owner, delivery lead).
Remove impediments that are hindering the product team to deliver their tasks, if needed escalate to management team for support.
The performance of the contractor has the goal: Migrate Trade backend system from legacy technical components to AWS native services to reduce complexity and technical debt.
Due to the agile nature of scrum methodology, not all work packages can already be defined in advance and most work packages will be defined over the course of the project, but which are generally provided independently by the contractor.
