Salt are recruiting an Engineering Manager for a Natwest/RBS backed digital FinTech business, who’ve grown by 500% in the last 12 months alone and processed £2BN transactions in that time.

Their success is down to their unique proposition, being able to sit at the intersection of retail and business banking, combining the innovation of a FinTech with the backing & expertise of an established bank!

Their headcount has more than doubled in the last year as they progress from startup to scaleup – they have circa 300 employees now with nearly 100 of those being in the software engineering division.

This Software Engineering Manager will see you leading a team of 10 as a part people leader, part technical problem-solver – so they are looking for strong line management skills as well as excellent technical understanding of one or more of the key components in their tech stack: (Java, React Native / iOS, Android / Javascript / Kafka / Kubernetes / Docker / AWS)

They are based in London but have a distributed team across the UK – who all meet up twice a month in London.

For this Software Engineering Manager role they are paying upto £130,000 + 20% bonus + 28 days holiday (not including bank holidays!)
