Senior Social Analyst

Our client, a global marketing agency, is seeking a multi-dimensional Senior Social Analyst to join their Digital Analytics team.

As Sr Social Analyst, you will play a key role on a team of analysts that provide marketing performance reporting and analysis for client social engagements. The ideal candidate is someone who is strategic, resourceful and inquisitive with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to build and lead the brand and the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Ensure reporting and analytics output is consistent, of high quality and delivered on time, and provide valuable and actionable insights for both clients and agency teams.

* Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop client tools and reporting frameworks.

* Manage the analytics dashboard and assist in analytics-based decision-making, business case analysis and social listening to support strategy and creative.

* Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear way to non-technical and non-analytical audiences, both in oral and written presentations.

* Lead and maintain client conversations from a proposed approach to conducting analysis, interpreting results and making recommendations, presenting findings in a compelling manner and ensuring clients are satisfied with the output.

* Pro-actively create and investigate hypothesis about brands, conversations or audiences that lead to new insights or projects.

Requirements

* 3+ years of experience in a related role

* Must have keen analytical ability and proven experience in managing, analyzing and interpreting data from platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn and Reddit

*Skilled work in Sprinklr is a plus, however, hands on experience in other performance management platforms is sufficient

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess ability to further develop your skillset

* Desire for continued learning of new skills, improved workflows, automations, etc.

* Experience in social listening is a definite plus

* Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written

* Agency background in media or performance preferred or digital experience is ideal

* Ability to adapt working styles to deliver projects independently and to collaborate with teams on specific projects

* Accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Education

* Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, economics, mathematics, statistics, business or marketing.
