About the role:

They are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join their North America sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience establishing relationships and driving “new logo” revenue in the construction and building industry. This role leads the effort to expand their footprint amongst the top companies in the industry – someone who can land the big players in the industry that they are not already working with. Someone with experience motivating stakeholders, and who loves challenges and solving problems.

Responsibilities:

* Understanding their products and communicating the value to prospective customers.
* Identifying needs and challenges of the prospective customers and the market.
* Maintaining a healthy pipeline through prospecting, up-selling and cross-selling activities.
* Negotiating conditions and contractual deals with large projects consisting of multiple stakeholders.
* Securing new logo opportunities.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of client’s business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can create opportunities for the company to win their business.
* Ability to carry out presentations and demos to stakeholders.
* Strong ability to transfer knowledge and successes across prospective accounts in different markets.
* Following up on inbound inquires and requests for quotes.
* Travel to visiting prospects and attend trade shows.

Requirements & Experience:

* A proven track record of leading revenue growth via new business (an absolute hunter).
* 4+ years sales experience (BD, SME sales, enterprise sales, construction sales etc.).
* Ability to travel within Canada and USA when necessary.
* Proven track record of reaching strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong business acumen ideally with comprehensive industry knowledge in construction.
* Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesforce, Dodge, Kennected, and MS Office (or similar).
