Data Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer (Data Engineering), you will play a crucial role in the overall success of the company by:

* Building applications ensuring that the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards
* Designing and developing the business logic and backend systems of the MVP experience
* Solving complex data problems to deliver insights that helps our business to achieve their goals
* Leading the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools and process for analytic data engineering in order to improve our productivity as a team
* Working closely with other team members to understand the business needs of the end users and own the overall product quality
* Writing unit, integration tests and functional automation
* Developing high quality, well documented, and efficient code
* Challenging ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
* Building using modern design patterns and architectural principles
* Supporting product owner in defining future stories and tech lead in defining technical designs

What are we looking for?

* Expertise in SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language (Python or .net highly preferred)
* Experience in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, API
* Understand technical best practices to support Agile development
* Passionate to learn new technologies and strives towards cross-functional development
* Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses in big data solutions
* Passionate about Agile software processes, design-driven development, reliability, and experimentation
* Experience in pair programming, continuous integration, test-driven development, and incremental design
* Experience with code refactoring, design patters, design-driven development, scrum, continuous deployment, and highly scalable applications
* Brave and rebellious, willing to challenge status quo
