Global Supply Manager (9-month Contract)

Our Client is a global technology conglomerate. It is now looking for an experience Supply Chain Manager to manage the supply chain and lead mass production readiness for custom mechanical components for its new AR/VR products to ensure a successful product launch.

Responsibilities:

* Drive mass production readiness at supplier site

* Formulate contingency plans to mitigate supply risks

* Develop and implement strategies to maintain schedule flexibility

* Monitor production and shipping status

* Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Product team

* Collaborate closely with US-based GSM counterpart

* Support mechanical component supplier selection and performance evaluation

* Monitor costs and expenditures

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent

* 5 years or more years of experience leading mass production of Asia-based custom mechanical component supply chain

* Profound knowledge of custom mechanical component manufacturing processes

* Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills

* Strong quantitative and analytical skills including command of Microsoft Excel

* Strong proficiency in English and Mandarin

* Able to travel to China as needed
