News Operations Specialist (8-month Contract)

Job Description

Our Client, a leading global technology conglomerate, is looking for a News Operations Specialist to join its growing News Partnerships Team in APAC, the role will be based out of Hong Kong supporting the Greater China Region and APAC. It’s a new role for additional supports.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Greater China Region News Partnerships team
  • Organise meetings with partners / publishers
  • Triage & resolve their issues / requests
  • Track, analyse & communicate key metrics / business trends
  • Drive adoption of client’s products
• Support APAC News Partnerships team
  • Support & track programs in accordance with the mission / goals of the organisation
• Organise & build supportive case study materials, getting relevant collateral & signing off from partners
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the News Partnerships and Partner Solutions teams, as well as with cross-functional teams such as Policy, Communications, Partnerships, Product, Media Operations & Partner Engineering teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant partner management and project management experience, preferably in the Internet or News industries
• Expert in Facebook publishing tools and products
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, written and spoken
• Creative, resourceful, focused on details, highly organised
• Deep passion for Facebook and Instagram
• Displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics
• Enjoys reading news, deep understanding of Hong Kong and Taiwan News ecosystem
