Our client is a global environmental organisation with over 60+ years of presence with the aim to make a difference for the future of nature. They are looking for a senior appointment to lead the brand and marketing front for Hong Kong.
Build a network of new relationships (e.g., creative agencies, media buyers, corporate and media partners, influencers and key opinion leaders) and strengthen existing relationships to lay the groundwork for a long-term, go-to-market strategy in Hong Kong, in line with the division’s strategic plan.
Lead efforts to grow the digital presence of the Hong Kong program (e.g., corporate website, social media channels, membership program) and manage a small team responsible for content creation and performance analysis.
Provide thought leadership and implement strategy to raise the profile of executive staff, and position the company as an innovative conservation brand and communicator.
Work collaboratively with other organizational departments (e.g., marketing and communications, philanthropy, membership, conservation) to ensure optimal representation of the company in global campaigns.
Drive brand awareness through innovative strategies tied to external, high-profile events in collaboration with other divisions, partner NGOs and creative agencies.
A minimum of eight years’ experience working in a creative agency environment, and/or experience working with and managing relationships with creative/advertising agencies for NGO marketing and communications campaigns, including in a pro- or lo-bono capacity.
At least three years of experience in a senior marketing role with management duties.
Multilingual skills (English, Cantonese, Mandarin), and cross-cultural professional experience.
Experience leading digital marketing campaigns with a proven record of success.
Proven track record as a self-starter leading complex marketing campaigns in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team (e.g., executives, trustees, program staff, philanthropy).
Experience in fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration and professional growth.
Experience with evolving marketing and communications strategies to reflect changing needs and opportunities.
