Head of Corporate Communications

The Role:

• Collaborate with C-suite executive leaders to strategize and develop an aligned corporate mission statement at the group level
• Develop and strategize external corporate communications and branding in various online and print platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, industry magazines, annual report and more
• Oversees the development and maintenance of the corporate website including methods to deliver message, ease of navigation, and clarity of information; ensures that all content is current and relevant
• Maintain and develop strong partnerships and relationships for media & community relations such as arranging interviews, managing media contacts, networking events, press releases and act as corporate spokesperson as needed
• Provide consistent and timely information to employees through various communications programs
• Assist executive leadership in developing presentations, speeches, and other important corporate messages
• Develop and strategize internal communications such as assisting executive leadership in developing presentations, speeches, and other important corporate messages
• Partner with HR to implement all employee communications and drive employee value proposition

The Person:

• Bachelor degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
• Solid experience in corporate communications and public relations, with agency background a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Superior ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for corporate and external publications
• Capable in offering relevant and business oriented media relations advice to executive directors
• Capable in working with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community
• Ability to work closely and cohesively with internal teams especially HR and brand marketing functions to align key messages and communications both internally and externally
